Dear PM Lee
The issue of flooding at Joo Koon since 10 years ago seems to have somehow escaped PUB’s attention.
(watch video @ https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=655434718478382)
7 years ago, I highlighted a similar issue to my disinterested town council and subsequently met up with PUB engineers. The issue was resolved in about a year by constructing a new drain and widening existing drainage. (see images below)
Since 2013, there has been no flooding.
Why has nothing been done at Joo Koon despite PUB clearly having the means? Has the part-time MP also been sleeping on the job?
Perhaps our civil servants need to be constantly reminded to serve the people.
Thank you and have a nice day.
“Joo Koon” should be “Joo Seng”. PM Lee and mail recipients have been informed of the ‘honest mistake’. 😉
