Flipping prata by LKY and PM Lee creates racial disharmony

Fact: The racist PE 2017 is an affront to democracy.
Perhaps PM Lee is also confirming that reciting our Pledge since young has failed?

PM Lee should not conveniently forget what his papa told Singaporeans 52 year ago:

What example is PAP setting by disallowing other races to participate in PE2017? A multiracial nation?

Not long ago, PAP itself had also proclaimed:

It appears PAP could no longer be trusted when it could flip prata anytime.

Lee Kuan Yew had also once said: “This is not a Malay nation; this is not a Chinese nation; this is not an Indian nation. Everybody will have his place: equal; language, culture, religion.

Since the president will no longer be elected based on merit, isn’t a Malay more equal in this instance?

Perhaps Singaporeans should not be surprised about the racist PE because LKY himself had already reneged on his own promise about 3 decades ago with the introduction of the GRC system.

LKY was always playing with words and telling half-truths which was unconstructive at best, if not divisive.

For example, LKY had said it was an error to put a “Malay officer who’s very religious and who has family ties in Malaysia in charge of a machine-gun unit”.

Notice how ‘clever’ he was when he used ‘If’, ie it was only an error conditional upon the above set of conditions.

But what about the majority who were not very religious nor had family ties in Malaysia?

Because of one man’s flawed thinking, Malay Singaporeans were distrusted and could not rise up the ranks in the military. If LKY were Malay, how would he have felt being discriminated against?

Can we expect loyalty from Malay Singaporeans when the government doesn’t trust them?

The divisive nature of PAP politics has not stopped at out GRC system but now extended to electing our president. What next? Isn’t it clear that both LKY and PM Lee have sacrificed racial/social harmony for the sole purpose of perpetuating PAP’s rule?

With so much prata flipping by father and son, Singaporeans should bear in mind there will be consequences for our country. 😦
